Phi Delta Theta was founded at Sonoma State University on April 19th, 1997 and became the California Sigma Chapter. Since then, we have initiated 463 members. As of Spring 2020, California Sigma has 35 active members.  Phi Delta Theta as a whole has adopted the phrase, “become the best version of yourself”, which has become the bedrock of the Fraternity. Our goal at California Sigma is to give young men the tools to meet their true potentials. Members of California Sigma have the ability to develop leadership skills by holding positions on the Executive Committee, traveling across the country to attend Fraternity Conferences, and taking positions in Sonoma States Inter Fraternal Council.
